Phillips Outsourcing is seeking the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of Assistant Financial Controller. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and analysing financial statements to inform decision-making. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will be responsible for preparing and analysing financial statements to inform decision-making

·       The candidate will manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate closings

·       The candidate must ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with tax authorities

·       The candidate will be responsible for supervising AP/AR processes for timely and accurate transactions

·       The candidate will develop internal controls and support audit processes

·       The candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring finance staff for professional growth

·       The candidate will be responsible for collaborating on financial strategies and cost-saving plans

·       The candidate will be responsible for overseeing payroll processing and statutory compliance

·       The candidate must maintain accounting systems and drive process improvements

·       The candidate will monitor cash flow and review contracts for policy alignment

Qualification

·       Chartered Accountant (ACCA, ICA Ghana or equivalent)

·       3 – 5 years of experience in accounting or finance

·       Strong knowledge of Ghanaian tax laws and regulations

·       Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

·       Skilled in financial reporting, budgeting and tax compliance

·       Excellent analytical and organisational abilities

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Must live in Accra, Ghana
