Ghana Lebanon Islamic Secondary School is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking and experienced individuals for the position of a Core/Elective Mathematics Teacher. The ideal candidate will teach Senior High School students, covering both general (core) and specialized (elective) math topics. The teacher will plan and deliver lessons and support learners in building strong problem-solving and analytical skills. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Responsibilities
i. Planning and presenting lessons to facilitate students' understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
ii. Preparing and distributing learning material such as notes, assignments, and quizzes.
iii. Sourcing the resources and supplies needed for lessons.
iv. Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning.
v. Grading assignments and quizzes in a timely manner.
vi. Invigilating quizzes and final examinations.
vii. Documenting and reporting on students' progress
Qualification
i. Bachelor's degree in education with a specialization in mathematics, or equivalent.
ii. Should have at least 3 years of experience
iii. Proven experience as a Math Teacher.
iv. A thorough understanding of best practices in teaching.
v. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
vi. Organized, flexible disposition.
