Mansa Engineering seeks the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the Finance Associate position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, controlling and forecasting various project budgets and must have excellent communication skills for conveying financial information to senior management. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, controlling and forecasting various projects’ budgets.

·       The candidate will be responsible for the preparation of budgets, management of reports and financial statements for management

·       The candidate must ensure tax and statutory returns compliance in respect of filing and payments and tax savings for the company.

·       The candidate will be responsible for performing revenue and cost analyses for various projects in the company.

·       The candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports including profit and loss accounts and balance sheet performance.

·       The candidate will be responsible for analyzing cash flows and customer profitability reports.

·       The candidate will advise on cost-management strategies and revenue-boosting strategies for the company.

·       The candidate will be responsible for maintaining leger integrity and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal control procedures.

·       The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing financial systems and internal controls.

·       The candidate must ensure total compliance with all regulations by liaising with stakeholders as n resolution of matters arising and maintaining to prevent regulatory infractions

·       The candidate must ensure month-end close activities are performed following timelines, guidelines and financial controls

Qualification

·       Financial statements management and financial reporting skills

·       Strong analytical skills

·       Excellent communication skills for conveying financial information to senior management

·       Experience with financial forecasting is an added advantage

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related area, ACCA, ICA, CIMA

·       Additional knowledge of taxation and expert user of QuickBooks

·       Experience in oil and gas is an added advantage

·       Computer/IT skills proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Accounting Software
