Finance Officer
PWC, a state-owned enterprise established to manage and invest revenues derived from the nation's resources. On behalf of our client, we now invite applications from experienced professionals to fill the vacancy for the position of Chief Finance Officer. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Finance Officer would be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, ensuring sound financial management. The ideal candidate will develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization’s strategic goals and investment, and mandate. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Responsibilities
i. The candidate will develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization’s strategic goals and investment mandate.
ii. The candidate will advise the CEO, Board, and Executive Management on financial planning, sustainability, and long-term capital allocation.
iii. The candidate will oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
iv. The candidate must ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards, International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) and applicable financial regulations.
Education, Professional Qualifications, and Experience Required
i. Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 10 years in a senior leadership role in finance or investment management.
ii. Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
iii. Relevant professional certifications & membership in professional associations such as ICA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CFA, or equivalent in Ghana or abroad.
