Kasapreko Plc is seeking the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of an Accountant. The ideal candidate will play an important role in business partnering between the manufacturing operations and the finance department. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Responsibilities
· The candidate will play an important role in partnering between the manufacturing operations and the finance department
· The candidate will be responsible for directing imported and local material costing
· The candidate will be responsible for initiating and implementing stock adjustments after the stock count
· The candidate will liaison with the production management to provide accurate production costs
· The candidate will provide factory department heads with relevant support
· The candidate will make budgetary plans and control of factory overheads
Qualification
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
· Professional Accountancy certificate such as CIMA/ACCA?ICA or equivalent
· Proven work experience in the manufacturing industry
· Experience in a sound manufacturing background will be an added advantage
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Microsoft Excel
