Kamit Services & Supplies Ltd seeks qualified, hardworking, experienced individuals for the position of Safety Officer. The successful candidate will liaise with regulatory bodies and prepare reports for inspections and audits. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Qualifications

·       Liaise with regulatory bodies & prepare reports for inspections and audits.

·       Conduct regular risk assessments & hazards identifications, & workplace inspections. Investigate accidents, near-misses, & incidents.

·       Document findings and recommend corrective actions.

·       Organize & deliver safety inductions & toolbox talks for new and existing staff.

·       Must be male.

Education And Experience

·       HND/BSc. in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science and Engineering.

·       NEBOSH IGC, IOSH or equivalent safety certification is an advantage.

·       Minimum of 2 years' experience as a safety Officer, Preferrably in the mining industry Must have Minerals Commission Certification
