Job Summary
As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail establishment. Your primary responsibility will be to process transactions accurately and efficiently, while also providing friendly and helpful assistance to customers.
• Minimum Qualification: High School (S.S.C.E)
• Experience Level: Entry level
• Experience Length: 2 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner as they enter the store.
• Assist customers with inquiries, product location, and any other assistance they may need.
• Accept cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment.
• Calculate and provide change to customers as needed.
• Scan and ring up items accurately, ensuring that prices and quantities are correct.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain awareness of potential theft or fraudulent activity and take appropriate action to prevent losses.
• Follow store policies and procedures for cash handling, security, and loss prevention.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operation of the cashier station.
Qualifications:
• Senior High school, diploma and above
• Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
