A reputable company seeks the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of an Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accounts and tax returns and auditing financial information. The ideal candidate must have at least a relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other appropriate fields. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Responsibilities
· The candidate will be responsible for recording periodic financial transactions such as invoices, bills, and payments
· The candidate will be responsible for preparing accounts and tax returns
· The candidate will be responsible for reconciling bank and credit card statements
· The candidate will complete tax audits
· The candidate must ensure compliance with accounting procedures and principles.
· The candidate will be responsible for performing accounts payable functions.
Qualification
· Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Business Administration, Accounting, or other relevant fields
· Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar
· Excellent knowledge of accounting practices, principles, and standards
· Possession of an ACCA or CA qualification is an added advantage
· Good written and verbal communication skills
