Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Laboratory Technologist based in Accra. The primary responsibilities include conducting laboratory tests, analyzing samples, ensuring the accuracy of test results, and maintaining laboratory equipment. Additional duties involve monitoring quality control standards, collaborating with medical staff to support diagnostics, and adhering to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Medical Technology and Laboratory Medicine expertise
- Proficiency in Laboratory Skills and Quality Control processes
- Strong understanding of medical principles and laboratory procedures
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with laboratory information systems is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist is required
