A reputable company is looking for detail-oriented, qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of Physician Assistant. A Physician Assistant is a licensed healthcare professional who works under the supervision of a physician to provide medical care to patients. Pas diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications and assist in medical procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting physical exams and patient interviews. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will be responsible for conducting physical exams and patient interviews

·       The candidate will diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries

·       The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing patient treatment plans

·       The candidate will be responsible for prescribing medications (caries by state regulations)

·       The candidate will educate patients and their families about medical conditions and treatments

·       The candidate will be responsible for performing minor procedures such as suturing, wound care and casting

·       The candidate will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals

·       The candidate will be responsible for ordering and interpreting lab tests and imaging

Qualification

·       Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent

·       Strong medical knowledge and clinical skills

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Good teamwork abilities

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

·       Should be able to handle the night shift
