Beacon Hill Industries Limited is seeking qualified, hardworking, and passionate individuals for the Factory Accountant position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, managing, and updating costing information for use in associated Manufacturing systems such as MFG-Pro. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will be responsible for timely and accurately reporting factory financial information by IFRS and applicable tax laws

·       The candidate will be responsible for the reconciliation of raw material receipts, issues and usage, work in progress, and finished products (Direct Material Costing)

·       The candidate will be responsible for making stock adjustments after stock count and ensuring variance analysis on major stock losses as well as usage variances

·       The candidate will be responsible for budgetary planning and control of factory overheads

Qualification

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or a related field

·       Professional accountancy qualification such as CIMA/CIT/ACCA/ICA or equivalent will be an added advantage

·       Proven manufacturing experience will be an added advantage

·       Good problem-solving and multitasking skills

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

·       Good knowledge in supply chain and finances

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Good interpersonal and coordination skills
