Ghana Union Assurance LTD is looking for a dedicated and versatile individual for the Human Resource Officer position. The ideal candidate must be able to effectively manage day-to-day HR operations while contributing to broader HR strategies. The ideal candidate will support with maintaining accurate employee records and managing HR documentation. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Responsibilities
· The candidate will support with maintaining accurate employee records and managing HR documentation.
· The candidate will be responsible for supporting recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes.
· The candidate will assist with leave administration, attendance tracking, and general HR operations.
· The candidate must ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
· The candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
· The candidate will support performance management, learning, and development initiatives.
· The candidate will assist in coordinating employee engagement activities and internal communications.
· The candidate will provide support on employee relations matters and conflict
· resolution.
· The candidate will help organize training programs and ensure compliance reporting.
Qualification
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR generalist role.
· Experience working within the insurance industry is an added advantage.
· Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
