Kova Edu is seeking the services of qualified, detail-oriented and hardworking individuals for the position of Academic Writing Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing, reviewing and editing research papers and reports. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in English, Education, Communication or other related fields. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will be responsible for writing, reviewing and editing research papers, theses, dissertations, essays and reports

·       The candidate must ensure clarity, coherence and academic integrity in all written work

·       The candidate must conduct in-depth research on various academic topics

·       The candidate will be responsible for assisting students in understanding academic writing conventions

·       The candidate will be responsible for providing constructive feedback to improve writing skills

·       The candidate will be responsible for identifying grammatical, spelling and punctuation errors

Qualification

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, Communication or a related field

·       Expertise in writing SOPs, CVs, resumes, research statements and motivation letters

·       Strong knowledge of graduate school admissions and scholarship applications

·       Excellent writing, editing and research skills, with attention to detail

·       Familiarity with academic formatting (APA, MLA, etc) and ATS-optimized resumes

·       Experience mentoring applicants and tailoring documents to specific programs

·       Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines

·       Good written and verbal communication skills

·       Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills
