About Us 

AnanseNet is a startup growing internet service provider company in Ghana dedicated to providing reliable and innovative services to our clients. As part of strengthening our technical team, we are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer/Administrator to manage and maintain our IT and networking infrastructure.

Role Overview

The Network Engineer/Administrator will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining our network systems, ensuring high availability, security, and efficiency. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with network configuration, troubleshooting, and system administration, as well as a strong understanding of Ghana’s ICT regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities

       i.          Design, install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers, switches, wireless).

     ii.          Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.

    iii.          Administer servers, storage systems, and user access controls.

   iv.          Ensure cybersecurity measures are implemented, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.

     v.          Manage backups, disaster recovery plans, and system updates.

   vi.          Provide technical support and training to staff as needed.

  vii.          Liaise with vendors, ISPs, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and efficient service delivery.

viii.          Document network configurations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

       i.          Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

     ii.          Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in networking or system administration.

    iii.          Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, MPLS, etc.).

   iv.          Hands-on experience with Cisco, Mikrotik, or similar networking equipment.

     v.          Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.

   vi.          Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, MCSA/MCSE) will be an added advantage.

  vii.          Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

viii.          Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
