A reputable company is seeking the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of IT Support Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering all databases, networking and systems, including the jBase database, SQL databases and business applications. The ideal candidate will also set up and administer, configure backup solutions, serve as a technical expert in the area of system and Network administration for complex operating systems, and drive the digital channel landscape. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of the host computers by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance

·       The candidate must ensure that records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained

·       The candidate will be responsible for applying revisions to host system firmware and software

·       The candidate will perform troubleshooting as required

·       The candidate will be responsible for managing the data center and computer host systems, including hardware, software and equipment such as air conditioning system, UPS (uninterrupted power system) and fire protection system

Qualification

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant fields

·       3 years of proven work experience in managing large databases, SQL server system administration in complex systems design, programming and systems software and support.

·       Proven experience in jBase, SQL running on Linux and Windows platforms is an added advantage.

·       SQL Server administration certification is an added advantage

·       Deep understanding of the digital industry dynamic and competitive landscape
