Position Summary

We are looking for dynamic and results-driven Sales Representatives to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving revenue growth by building and maintaining relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met, and contributing to the success of Merdeo Foods. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about sales, customer satisfaction, and the agricultural supply chain.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales and Client Acquisition:
    • Identify, approach, and onboard new customers, focusing on small and medium-sized restaurants, hotels, and supermarkets.
    • Promote Merdeo Foods' value proposition, emphasizing quality, reliability, and sustainability.


  2. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service.
    • Conduct regular visits to clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.


  3. Sales Execution and Reporting:
    • Meet and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and consistent efforts.
    • Accurately document sales activities, including orders, follow-ups, and feedback, using company systems.


  4. Market Insights:
    • Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer preferences to provide insights for improving products and services.
    • Act as the voice of the customer, communicating their feedback to the relevant teams.


  5. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
    • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and strategy discussions.

Requirements

  1. Qualifications and Experience:
    • A minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
    • Proven sales experience, preferably in the food, FMCG, or agriculture sectors.


  2. Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Negotiation and persuasion abilities.
    • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.


  3. Other Requirements:
    • Must own or have access to reliable transportation for client visits.
    • Familiarity with the local market and customer base is an advantage.
    • Proficiency in English; additional local languages are a plus.
