Job Purpose: The Nurse/Paramedic will be responsible for providing medical care and emergency services to employees on-site. This role involves administering first aid, managing health records, and promoting overall health and safety within the workplace.

Areas of Responsibility include:

·                 Provide immediate medical attention and first aid to injured or ill employees.

·                 Manage medical emergencies and coordinate with external medical services when necessary.

·                 Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality.

·                 Conduct regular health checks and monitor the overall health of employees.

·                 Advise management on health and safety issues and suggest preventive measures.

·                 Promote health education and awareness among employees.

·                 Ensure that medical supplies and equipment are stocked and maintained.

 

Experience and Education

·                 Degree in Nursing or Paramedics.

·                 Relevant working experience of 4 years in a similar role, preferably in an industrial or mining environment.

·                 Certification in first aid and emergency response.

·                 Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.

·                 Possess a valid Ghanaian Driving Licence and proficiency to drive a light vehicle.
