Job Purpose: The Electrician/Electrical Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in compliance with safety standards and regulations. This role involves designing electrical systems, diagnosing electrical issues, and ensuring the efficient operation of electrical infrastructure.

Areas of Responsibility include:

·                 Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components.

·                 Design and develop electrical systems and ensure they meet specifications and safety codes.

·                 Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure safety and functionality.

·                 Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly and effectively.

·                 Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for electrical projects.

·                 Collaborate with other Engineers and professionals to improve electrical systems and processes.

·                 Ensure compliance with local, national, and international electrical codes and standards.

 

Experience and Education

·                 BSc/HND in Electrical Engineering and certification in electrical works.

·                 Relevant working experience of 5 years in electrical installation and maintenance.

·                 Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety codes.

·                 Proficiency in using electrical tools and diagnostic equipment.

·                 Attention to detail and accuracy.

·                 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

·                 Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
