Emery Invest is seeking the services of detail-oriented, qualified, experienced and hardworking individuals for the position of Electrical Engineer to oversee the design, installation and maintenance of electrical systems. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and manage electrical subcontractors on site to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
2. Oversee and monitor all electrical activities to guarantee compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
3. Conduct regular inspections, reviews, and quality assurance checks for electrical installations and systems.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues or challenges on-site to minimize disruptions and meet project deadlines.
5. Assist with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for electrical work on the assigned project.
6. Prepare and maintain accurate reports, documentation, and progress updates for all electrical-related activities.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in managing and supervising electrical subcontractors within a construction or engineering setting.
2. A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation processes, and industry best practices.
4. Familiarity with relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.
