Usibras Ghana Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Key Responsibilities

·       Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns.

·       Conduct preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.

·       Perform electrical inspections and ensure equipment is operating safely.

·       Support the maintenance team during equipment installation, commissioning and repairs.

·       Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and company policies.

·       Maintain proper records of electrical maintenance and repairs.

·       Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergencies.

·       Work closely with the Production and Maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.

Requirements

·       Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

·       Minimum qualification of HND in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Technology or a related field.

·       Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and equipment.

·       Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults effectively.

·       Knowledge of electrical safety standards and procedures.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·       Willingness to work shifts and respond to maintenance emergencies when required.

Preferred Skills

·       Experience working with industrial machinery and production equipment.

·       Basic knowledge of PLCs, control panels, motors and motor control systems will be an advantage.

·       Good problem-solving and communication skills.

·       Strong commitment to safety and preventive maintenance.
