The Royal Senchi seeks the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the Electrical Technician position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the new installation of lighting, power supply, and modification of all existing ones. The ideal candidate must have 3-6 years of experience in the hospitality industry. As follows are the responsibilities  and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will install new lighting, power supply and modification of all existing ones

·       The candidate will be responsible for switching on and off at the appropriate times for all outside lighting

·       The candidate will liaise with both the assistant maintenance manager and maintenance manager to solve any staff problems.

·       The candidate will be responsible for maintenance and repairs of all electrical components in the plant and equipment

·       The candidate will be responsible for daily utilities readings and maintenance duty log books

·       The candidate will follow the planned preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance program

·       The candidate will be responsible for assisting in monitoring and supply of all utilities at all times

·       The candidate must ensure the health and safety of staff

·       The candidate  must be fully familiar with all Health and Safety policies relevant to the maintenance department

·       The candidate must be abreast with issues of legislation regarding health and safety, firefighting equipment, and electricity applicable to the maintenance department

Qualification

·       HND in Electricals or other relevant fields

·       3 – 6 years experience in the hospitality industry

·       Knowledge of Microsoft Office software to be able to generate varied reports
