A reputable company is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking, and experienced individuals for the position of an Auto Electrician. The successful candidate will inspect and diagnose vehicle electrical faults using a Technical/Vocational Certificate or Diploma in diagnostic tools and wiring diagrams. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, diagnostics, and tools. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Key Responsibilities
i. Inspect and diagnose vehicle electrical faults using diagnostic tools and wiring diagrams
ii. Install electrical accessories like GPS, alarms, trackers, inverters, and dash cams
iii. Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards
iv. Accurately complete job cards and document all diagnostic findings and repairs
v. Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to ensure the timely completion of jobs
vi. Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and safe condition
vii. Stay updated on evolving automotive electrical systems and EV technologies
viii. Auto Electrical or related field
Requirements
i. Technical/Vocational Certificate or Diploma in
ii. Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience as an Auto Electrician
iii. Strong knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, diagnostics, and tools
iv. Familiarity with both petrol and diesel vehicles (experience with EV is a plus)
v. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and service manuals
vi. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
vii. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality work
