Passion Air is seeking qualified, hardworking, and experienced individuals for the position of Senior Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will report directly to the Financial Controller and supervise two Assistant Finance Managers. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective financial management, compliance, and operational efficiency. The Senior Finance Manager will oversee financial reporting, budget management, and process improvement initiatives while serving as a key liaison between the finance department and other stakeholders. The following are the responsibilities and qualification for the position;
Responsibilities
i. The candidate will supervise and guide the Assistant Finance Managers responsible for accounts payable, revenue, and financial reporting.
ii. The candidate will oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports and ensure compliance with IFRS and other relevant standards.
iii. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring actual performance against the budget and reporting variances with detailed explanations and recommendations.
iv. The candidate will maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
v. The candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
vi. The candidate will work closely with other departments to provide financial guidance and support for strategic initiatives.
vii. The candidate will mentor and develop the Assistant Finance Managers to enhance. their skills and performance.
Qualification and Experience
i. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

iii. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
iv. Collaborative leadership style with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
v. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
vi. Professional certification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA, CIA) is required.
vii. Minimum of 5 years of finance experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
viii. Strong knowledge of IFRS, Ghanaian regulatory requirements, and aviation industry financial practices.
