Delin is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking, and experienced individuals for the position of an Office Assistant. The ideal candidate will be a support to the administration through documentation, office security, and ensuring smooth operations. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Job Purpose:
The Office Assistant will be a support to the administration through documentation, office security, and ensuring smooth operations. Responsible for the office's general upkeep and timely delivery/ pickup of packages/courier.
Key Responsibilities:
i. Open and close the office daily; oversee the cleanliness by supervising the Office Cleaner.
ii. Manage office stores: receive, track, and control inventories (stationery and supplies).
iii. Purchase and restock office supplies as needed, maintaining accurate records.
iv. Handle printing, binding, photocopying, and any document-related workflows.
v. Supervise and coordinate office repairs and maintenance activities.
vi. Act as Dispatch Rider: ensure safe and timely delivery or pick-up of documents, parcels, and supplies using the company-assigned motorbike.
vii. Support general administrative activities, including filing, documentation, and errands.
viii. Assist with office security by monitoring premises and reporting issues.
ix. Maintain assigned assets (motorbike, safety equipment, office keys) in good condition.
Position Requirements/Capabilities:
i. Minimum Diploma certificate in any field or Senior High School (SHS) certificate.
ii. Proficient reading, writing, and communication skills in English.
iii. Demonstrated reliability and accountability in handling confidential or sensitive materials.
iv. Valid Motorbike Rider's License; an additional Driver's License is an advantage.
v. Basic skills in the use of printers, photocopying machines, document binding machines, computer/email preferred.
vi. Experience in dispatch, delivery, or office support roles is advantageous.
vii. Attention to detail; ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks.
viii. Good interpersonal skills and a professional work ethic.
