Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Admin and Account Officer to join our team. This role will be pivotal in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our company, ensuring smooth administrative processes, and managing financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Duties
- Manage and maintain office operations, including filing, record-keeping, and correspondence.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Oversee office supplies inventory and procurement.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Assist with HR functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
Accounting Duties
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements and financial reports.
- Manage petty cash and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Perform any other duty that may be assigned by management in line with the role occupied
Qualifications and Experience
- HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a product distribution firm.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
