The Bases Conversion and Development Authority is seeking the services of detail-driven, hardworking and qualified individuals for the position of communications Officer (writer/Editor) under its Public Affairs Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of the overall BCDA Public relations and communication plan by providing editorial and technical support to communication activities. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will be responsible for assisting the implementation of the overall BCDA Public relations and communication plan by providing editorial and technical support to communications activities.

·       The candidate will be responsible for preparing concept papers and proposals for communication activities aimed at promoting key programs and projects and reports on communication projects.

·       The candidate will implement communication projects designed to promote key programs and projects.

·       The candidate will write and edit press releases, press statements, news and feature articles and other editorial requirements.

·       The candidate will be responsible for preparing briefers, talking points, speeches and messages

Qualification

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Communication or other relevant fields

·       Proven written and verbal communication skills

·       Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills
