Responsibilities

·       The candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing the annual internal audit plan, detailing audit objectives, schedules, resource needs and audit frequency based on risk assessment

·       The candidate will evaluate and review the effectiveness, adequacy and proper application of accounting and financial controls, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and best practices

·       The candidate will be responsible for compiling and presenting detailed audit reports with findings, conclusions and actionable recommendations to enhance internal controls and operational efficiency

·       The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the creation, maintenance and continuous updating of the internal audit manual and audit programs

·       The candidate will be responsible for leading the internal audit of the company’s core fictions, including operations, finance and commercial units, ensuring thorough evaluation of compliance risk management, and control processes

·       The candidate will conduct investigations and inspections in cases of suspected fraud or operational irregularities, reporting findings and recommendations to management

Qualification

·       Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

·       Relevant certifications, for example, CompTIA A+, and Microsoft Certified will be an added advantage

Skills

·       Technical Expertise: Network Administration, System Administration, Security Practices, Backup and Recovery, IT Infrastructure Management and Patch Management

·       Personal Attributes: Strong client orientation, Innovation and problem-solving, Communication skills
