A reputable company is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking and experienced individuals for the position of an IT Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining company IT infrastructure, including networks, servers and hardware. The ideal candidate must have experience with networking, firewalls and cloud services. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Responsibilities

·       The candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and hardware.

·       The candidate will provide technical support to employees and resolve IT-related issues.

·       The candidate will install, configure, and update software and hardware systems.

·       The candidate must ensure data security, backups, and disaster recovery processes are in place.

·       The candidate will be responsible for monitoring system performance and proactively troubleshooting issues.

·       The candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT documentation, including system configurations and user guides.

·       The candidate must ensure compliance with IT policies and cybersecurity best practices.

·       The candidate will liaise with vendors for procurement and maintenance of IT equipment.

Qualification

·       Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

·       3-5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network management.

·       Proficiency in operating systems (Windows/Linux) and IT security protocols.

·       Experience with networking, firewalls, and cloud services.

·       Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

·       Ability to work independently and support a fast-paced environment.

·       Certifications such as CompTIA, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.

·       Good written and verbal communication skills

·       Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills
