Fortress Ghana seeks the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the Robotics Software Engineer position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing software for robotics systems, including perception, control, and planning modules. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing software for robotics systems, including perception, control, and planning modules.

·       The candidate will develop and maintain ROS/ROS2-based applications

·       The candidate will be responsible for integrating sensors, actuators, and control systems into robotic platforms

·       The candidate will build simulation environments for testing robotic algorithms

·       The candidate will optimize code for real-time execution and reliability

·       The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with hardware teams to ensure seamless software-hardware integration

·       The candidate will document system architecture and technical processes

Qualification

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or other related field

·       5 – 10 years of experience in robotics software development

·       Proficiency in programming languages like C++, Python, or Java

·       Experience with ROS/ROS2 and simulation tools like Gazebo or Webots

·       Knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, and control systems

·       Familiarity with computer vision and sensor integration (LiDAR, cameras, IMUs)
