The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately measuring, counting, and labeling medication according to prescriptions. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will be responsible for accurately measuring, counting, and labeling medications according to prescriptions

·       The candidate will prepare medications for patients

·       The candidate must ensure the correct dosage and instructions are provided as per the prescription

·       The candidate will be responsible for receiving, interpreting, and processing prescription orders from healthcare providers

·       The candidate will enter patient information and prescription details into the pharmacy’s system

·       The candidate will be responsible for monitoring stock levels to ensure adequate supplies

·       The candidate must check expiration dates frequently to ensure damaged or expired medications are safely disposed

·       The candidate will have interactions with patients or clients to answer questions and provide information on their medications

·       The candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients and patients

Qualification

·       Diploma in Pharmacy or related field

·       Proficient in pharmacy software systems for prescription processing and inventory management

·       Good knowledge of medication names, its uses, and potential side effects

·       Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills

·       Good written and verbal communication skills
