Job Summary
We are a Christian School seeking a caring, responsible, and values-driven Preschool Teacher Assistant to support classroom activities and contribute to a nurturing, disciplined, and faith-based learning environment. The ideal candidate must enjoy working with young children, demonstrate strong Christian values, and support the lead teacher in delivering structured, child-centred learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Preschool Teacher in daily classroom activities
- Assist with Montessori and age-appropriate learning tasks
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and disciplined classroom environment
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and moral development
- Assist with monitoring and documenting pupil progress
- Help organise learning materials and classroom resources
- Communicate respectfully with pupils, staff, and parents as required
Requirements
- Diploma or WASSCE certificate holder
- Experience working with young children is an advantage
- Good written and spoken English communication skills
- Practicing Christian with strong values and love for young children
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Proximity to Achimota or its surrounding areas is preferred
