There is a job vacancy within the Business Department of Letshego Ghana for the abovementioned position. The details of the role is outlined below: 

The Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for driving strategic initiatives, optimizing business processes, and enhancing overall organizational performance. This role involves integrating and analysing data to improve business reviews and forecasting, while also providing actionable insights through financial planning, performance analysis, business analytics, and resource allocation. Additionally, the position focuses on strengthening support across departments to foster collaboration and help the company achieve its strategic objectives. The following are the responsibilities and qualification for the position;

Responsibilities

Reporting & Data Management:

       i.          Implement standardized monthly reporting packs for mobile loans to streamline data analysis and reporting processes.

     ii.          Develop a Monthly reconciliation process for independent reports to ensure the accurate and timely input of financial data.

    iii.          Define and manage the structure of key metrics, ensuring clean, available, and well-structured data to power business insights.

Financial & Performance Analysis:

       i.          Develop a framework to analyze product profitability, focusing on key metrics such as sales, book size, impairment, cost, and human capital.

     ii.          Establish a regular reporting schedule to evaluate segment performance, identify improvement areas, and optimize outcomes.

    iii.          Track, analyze, visualize, and communicate key metrics to senior management, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

   iv.          Provide continuous reporting and analysis to ensure the timely completion of major financial deliverables.

     v.          Support management teams in integrating financial data into program planning, reporting, and decision-making processes.

Strategic & Decision Support:

       i.          Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine the companys strategic goals and objectives. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to inform strategic decision making.

     ii.          Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess company performance against targets and benchmarks, recommending strategies for improvement.

    iii.          Provide data-driven decision support to cross-functional teams by conducting in-depth analyses and presenting actionable insights.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication:

       i.          Work closely with senior stakeholders to drive informed business decisions through data and insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data for business analysis and ensure alignment with overall business goals.

     ii.          Present insights, costs, benefits, risks, and recommendations through reports and presentations to senior management and key stakeholders.

    iii.          Continuously improve the company's reporting framework, suggesting innovative perspectives and educating business stakeholders on analytical tools and methodologies.

   iv.          Conduct insightful analyses using a broad range of data sources (e.g., user, revenue, product, market, industry) to inform business strategy and performance.

    iii.          Product Segment Profitability Analysis

   iv.          Stakeholder Satisfaction with Insights

     v.          Strategic Decision Impact

Complexity of the Role

       i.          Multi-cultural awareness and the ability to interact with a wide range of differing levels in the Group, government, society and business in general.

Minimum Job Requirements

       i.          Bachelor's degree Statistics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent.

     ii.          At least 5 years' experience in within Financial Services

    iii.          Professional Certification is advantageous.

Knowledge and Skills

       i.          Expertise in handling and manipulating large and complex data sets.

     ii.          Interpretation of financial information for decision making.

    iii.          Formulation of Business Strategy and continuous monitoring

   iv.          Experience with survey data, relevant software, and methodologies

     v.          Strong understanding of data warehousing and data structures.
