Alpha DS Recruit is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking, and experienced individuals for the position of an English Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a learning environment that will help students meet their learning goals through interesting and diverse methods, teaching them the important rules of reading, writing, and speaking in English. Oversee their progress by tracking their assignment and exam grades to provide useful feedback. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Reports to: Headmistress

Duties:

       i.          Organize classroom lectures and coursework

     ii.          Prepare materials and activities

    iii.          Assign assignments and interesting class exercises

   iv.          Identify students with special requirements and create individualized plans

     v.          Determine exam and assignment grades

   vi.          Provide feedback based on workload and classroom behaviour

  vii.          Keep a record of students’ attendance and grades

viii.          Research new language teaching methods

   ix.          Manage classroom crises and resolve conflict

     x.          Inform parents about their children’s performance

   xi.          Collaborate with teaching staff and administrators to foster a good student experience

Education & Experience:

       i.          BSc/BA in English Language or English Literature

     ii.          Previous experience as an English teacher

Requirement:

       i.          Knowledge of various teaching methods

     ii.          Deep understanding of the national curriculum and English language requirements

    iii.          Exceptional organizational and communication skills

   iv.          A patient and resilient personality

     v.          Dedication to students and education
