Bomarts Farms Limited seeks the services of qualified, motivated, and hardworking individuals for the position of Accounts Officer with Internal Audit duties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with internal audits, and processing transactions to see to it that the financial integrity of the organization is intact. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       The candidate will be responsible for performing regular reconciliations of bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts

·       The candidate will be responsible for identifying and resolving any discrepancies in financial statements

·       The candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements

·       The candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing reports and schedules as required for management review and decision-making

·       The candidate will be responsible for assisting in conducting internal audits

·       The candidate will be responsible for gathering data, performing tests, and documenting findings

·       The candidate will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and procedures

·       The candidate will be responsible for participating in risk assessments to identify and assess potential financial risks

·       The candidate must ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies

Qualification

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or a related field

·       Proven work experience as an Account Officer or equivalent

·       Exposure to internal audits in previous positions is an added advantage

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and others

·       Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, principles, and practices

·       A keen eye for detail

·       Good problem-solving skills and analytical skills

·       High level of integrity

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team
