A reputable Cambridge-accredited international school is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Physics Teacher to teach IGCSE and A-Level students. The successful candidate must have a strong background in Mathematics and a proven track record of preparing students for outstanding results in Cambridge examinations. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of proven teaching experience in Physics at IGCSE. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Responsibilities
i. Teach Physics at IGCSE and A-Level following the Cambridge International Curriculum.
ii. Prepare students to excel in Cambridge examinations through practical experiments and targeted revision strategies.
iii. Design lessons that promote critical thinking, inquiry, and problem-solving skills.
iv. Maintain an inclusive and safe classroom environment.
v. Collaborate with colleagues in STEM departments to foster interdisciplinary learning.
vi. Support extracurricular activities such as science clubs, STEM fairs, and competitions.
Qualification
i. A bachelor's degree (or higher) in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field with a strong mathematics background.
ii. A recognised teaching qualification/certification is essential
iii. Minimum of 3 years' experience teaching Physics at IGCSE and/or A-Level in a recognised international school using the Cambridge Curriculum.
iv. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
v. Good interpersonal and coordination skills
vi. A keen eye for detail
