Databank Asset Management Services LTD. (DAMSEL) is looking for a self-motivated and innovative person for the role of a 'Marketing Manager' to join its Marketing Team.

Job Purpose & Summary

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of strategic marketing plans to promote the Firm's products, enhance brand visibility, and drive client acquisition and retention. The role requires deep knowledge of financial service marketing, digital strategy, brand positioning and stakeholder engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic planning and execution

       i.          Develop and implement an annual marketing and brand strategy aligned with business objectives.

     ii.          Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, outdoor, and event platforms.

    iii.          Manage the creation of marketing content, including brochures, pitchbooks (sales presentations), social media posts, email newsletters, and press releases.

Compilation and writing of reports

       i.          Compile data and write error-free, comprehensive reports for the various funds and companies.

     ii.          Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform campaign design and positioning.

    iii.          Monitor and report on campaign effectiveness using marketing KPIs and analytics tools.

Team management

       i.          Oversee corporate branding, visual identity, and brand compliance across all touchpoints.

     ii.          Work with the team to find innovative ways to get our clients to invest with the Firm.

    iii.          Provide coaching and guidance to team members to help them develop in their respective roles.

   iv.          Demonstrate innovation and proactiveness by looking for ways to improve processes on the team and enhance the Firm's product and service offering.

Banking Collaborators

       i.          Look for opportunities to market the Firm through the partner bank's various customer channels.

     ii.          Collaborate with other teams to support product launches and client communications.

    iii.          Initiate conversations based on the strengths of the partner banks toward developing value-added services that span beyond collections.

Education/Qualifications

       i.          A master's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related discipline

     ii.          A professional qualification in CIM or a related professional qualification

    iii.          GISI/GSE certification

Skills/Competencies

       i.          A good appreciation of Ghana's Securities Market

     ii.          Experience with CRM systems, digital marketing tools, and social media platforms

    iii.          Ability to define long-term marketing strategies and execute them

   iv.          Ability to align marketing goals with overall business objectives

     v.          Ability to build and protect brand identity

   vi.          Understanding of digital analytics and data-driven marketing

  vii.          Excellent communication and effective presentation skills to convey marketing strategies

viii.          Ability to foster innovation and cross-functional collaboration

   ix.          Ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize the marketing budget

     x.          Ability to lead, motivate, manage, and develop teams

   xi.          Ability to manage resources while providing the needed solutions

  xii.          Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital tools, e.g., Canva, Adobe, Google Analytics, HubSpot

Experience

       i.          A minimum of five (5) years' experience in marketing management, preferably in the financial services industry
