Duapa Agri Products Ltd, a growing agribusiness committed to delivering high-quality agricultural products and services, seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide robust accounting and financial management support for the organization. We’re looking for someone hardworking, motivated to grow in their role, and willing to take on evolving responsibilities. The following are the responsibilities and qualification for the  position;

Key Responsibilities

       i.          The candidate must ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions

     ii.          The candidate will prepare financial statements up to the final accounts stage

    iii.          The candidate will be responsible for conducting monthly bank reconciliations

   iv.          The candidate will be responsible for developing management accounts for board review

     v.          The candidate will assist in the preparation of annual and periodic budgets

   vi.          The candidate will provide support during internal and external audits

  vii.          The candidate will assist in procurement and inventory management

viii.          The candidate will prepare donor financial reports as needed

   ix.          The candidate will be responsible for supporting project-related financial management

     x.          The candidate will carry out additional duties as delegated by management

Qualifications & Skills

       i.          Part-qualified accountant (Level III of ICAG, ACCA, or CIMA) — Mandatory

     ii.          Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent — Mandatory

    iii.          Minimum of four (4) years post-graduation experience in a relevant accounting role

   iv.          Proven ability to prepare accounts up to final accounts level

     v.          Strong communication and interpersonal skills

   vi.          Highly organized, proactive, responsible, and able to work independently or in a team

  vii.          Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail

Contract Details

       i.          Full-time: 40 hours/week

     ii.          Standard Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

    iii.          Occasional weekend work may be required, depending on business needs

   iv.          Attractive salary
