Alinea is currently accepting applications for a talent pool of experienced Finance and Administration Officers for upcoming long-term positions in international development finance & administration, and logistics within Ghana. Applicants must be fluent in English and based in Ghana with the legal authorization to live and work in the country.

Educational Requirements:
- Graduate with, a master’s degree in a relevant field such as business/public administration, finance, accounting, or economics.
- Additional accredited financial certifications are an asset, including Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified General Accountant (CGA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Management, or Business Management certifications.
Minimum Experience:
- At least 6 - 8 years of experience (preferred) supporting international development programs valued at CAD 5,000.000 or more in Financial and Administrative roles.
- Experience working with international development stakeholders, including civil society organizations, private sector entities, multilateral organizations, donors (such as Global Affairs Canada, GAC, USAID, FCDO, UKaid), and local/national governments.
- Proven experience in preparing financial reports and managing financial systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Expertise in preparing and collaborating on key project documentation, including annual work plans, financial reports, administrative reports, and narrative reports.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor and track project expenditures and maintain complete and accurate financial records.
- Experience managing the provision of logistical services.
- Previous experience maintaining records and filing systems for projects valued at CAD 5,000,000 or more.
- Experience contributing to, preparing, and submitting financial reports promptly, including Financial Plans, Annual Work Plans, and Expenditure Reports.
- Experience in developing operational documents such as manuals, policies, procedures, and monitoring tools.
- Expertise in managing, tracking, and coordinating project funds, including reviewing and preparing invoices.
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage the record-keeping and filing system for all financial and project documentation.
- Oversee the financial systems to ensure accurate and timely maintenance of project financial data.
- Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable systems, ensuring accurate records of project funding.
- Administer timely payments to suppliers, contractors, and technical specialists.
- Track and monitor project expenses in line with the approved budget.
- Prepare financial and procurement reports, along with project budgets.
- Stay informed about financial policies and regulations to ensure compliance with local laws and donor requirements.
- Provide financial guidance regarding local laws, financial institutions, and expense estimates to ensure compliance with project regulations.
- Offer accounting and financial reconciliation services.
- Assist with the administration of logistics and contracts coordinated by the Project Manager.
