Shift Consults Africa Limited is seeking the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of Junior Hospitality Consultant. The ideal candidate is responsible for assisting in assessing the operational needs of clients in the hospitality industry. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Responsibilities
· The candidate will be responsible for assisting in assessing the operational needs of clients in the hospitality industry
· The candidate will conduct research and analysis on industry trends, market demands, and competitor strategies
· The candidate will provide recommendations to improve guest satisfaction and operational performance
· The candidate will support senior consultants in developing strategies for improving service quality, cost efficiency and profitability
· The candidate will assist in creating training programs for hospitality staff to enhance customer service skills
· The candidate will help clients implement industry best practices and standards in their operations
Qualification
· Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
· Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to manage time and effectively
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and deadlines
· Strong written and spoken English
· Experience with travel and tours or AirBnB software
· Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive and Canva would be a bonus
