Société Générale Ghana is currently seeking for a legal officer, to assist Head, Legal in the performance of functions of the Legal Department.
Key Results Areas
i. Processing of Pre-Disbursement Facility Documentation
ii. Providing General Legal Advice
iii. Representing the Bank in Court and at CHRAJ, as well as initiating suits on behalf of the Bank
iv. Providing support and regular follow-up on all fraud cases discovered by the Audit Department and/or any branch, unit, department or division
v. Ensuring that all services provided to the Bank are covered by Legal Agreements
vi. Renewal of Tenancy Agreement
vii. Liaising with Human Resources on Labour issues
viii. Acquisitions and Registration of Land Documents over property owned by the Bank
ix. Working on the Operational Risk Reports and Compliance Reports of the Legal Department.
x. Confirmation of collaterals held by the Bank for the Business Units
xi. Performance of all assigned PSP Control

QUALIFICATION
i. First Degree in Law or its equivalent professional qualification, Barrister at Law
ii. At least 10 years relevant Post Qualification Experience
iii. Senior Management Experience/Expertise
