Cleaneats Limited is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking and experienced individuals for the position of a Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely loading, transporting and delivering inventory including perishable and non-perishable items, from the central kitchen/warehouse to CleanEats outlets. The following are the responsibilities and qualification for the position;
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
i. Inventory Transport: Safely load, transport, and deliver inventory, including perishable and non-perishable items, from the central kitchen/warehouse to CleanEats outlets.
ii. Inventory Checks: Verify that all items being transported match the delivery schedule and inventory checklist, ensuring no discrepancies.
iii. Timely Deliveries: Adhere to established delivery routes and schedules to ensure outlets are stocked on time.
iv. Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure it remains clean, safe, and in excellent working condition.
v. Safety Compliance: Follow food safety and handling guidelines during loading, transport, and unloading of inventory.
vi. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including invoices, delivery confirmations, and incident reports.
vii. Communication: Report delays, issues, or shortages immediately to the logistics team or operations manager.
viii. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse and outlet staff to streamline inventory handovers and resolve any discrepancies.
Qualifications & Documents
i. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
ii. Prior experience in a similar inventory or logistics role is preferred.
iii. Ability to lift and transport heavy items (up to [Insert Weight, e.g., 50 lbs]) safely.
iv. Familiarity with delivery vehicles and route planning.
v. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
vi. Basic understanding of inventory processes and record-keeping.
