FH Depot Company Limited is seeking qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of a Lead Accountant. The ideal candidate should be a female who will prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and manage the accounts payable process. As follows are the responsibilities and qualification for the position;

Responsibilities

·       Candidate will prepare and  present financial reports to stakeholders and management

·       Candidate will be responsible for drafting and developing periodic financial reports

·       Candidate will prepare and maintain accurate financial statements including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements

·       Candidate will manage the accounts payable process

·       Candidate will oversee accounts receivable and customer account reconciliation

·       Candidate will assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts

·       Candidate will monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis

·       Candidate will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of all financial transactions

Qualification

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or a related field

·       Relevant professional certification like ACCA/ICA is an added advantage

·       Proven work experience as an accountant

·       Proven experience in a distribution or fast-moving consumer goods environment is an added advantage

·       Knowledge of accounting standards, processes and principles

·       Knowledge in financial reporting and tax regulation

·       Proficient in accounting software for example, QuickBooks, Tally or SAP

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, emphasis on Microsoft Excel

·       Keen eye for detail

·       Good coordination and interpersonal skills

·       Excellent analytical skills

Salary 3000 – 4000
