The Honeysuckle, one of Ghana’s leading pub and restaurant brands, is looking for a meticulous and experienced Account Officer to join our team. 

This role is ideal for someone with strong profit and loss analysis skills, excellent attention to financial data, and a solid grasp of inventory controls within the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

       i.          Prepare and analyze monthly profit and loss statements, ensuring accurate cost and revenue reporting across all branches.

     ii.          Maintain and reconcile inventory data in collaboration with storekeepers and branch managers.

    iii.          Monitor food and beverage costing, wastage, and usage trends to ensure profitability.

   iv.          Track and record daily sales, purchases, and expenses across multiple outlets.

     v.          Support stock counts, verify variances, and flag irregularities for investigation.

   vi.          Ensure all accounting records are complete, timely, and in line with internal controls.

  vii.          Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparations.

viii.          Collaborate with the finance team to streamline systems and improve reporting accuracy.

 

Requirements:

       i.          A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

     ii.          A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or retail industry.

    iii.          Strong understanding of profit and loss accounting, inventory tracking, and cost control.

   iv.          Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.).

     v.          High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

   vi.          Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  vii.          Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
