Ernest Chemist is seeking passionate and qualified individuals for the position of an Internal Audit Assistant. The ideal candidate will assist the Internal Audit Manager to improve internal control systems and make sure processes, rules and standards are diligently abided by to ensure all company assets are protected. As follows are the responsibilities and qualification for the position.

Responsibilities

·       Candidate will embark on auditing tasks in department assigned to. These departments will include the stores and inventory department.

·       Candidate will ensure there accuracy and reliability of accounting records and financial reports and data.

·       Candidate will review accounting and financial reports and recommend the necessary changes.

·       Candidate will work hand-in-hand with staff from other department to ensure approved auditing process and procedures are implemented

·        Candidate will prepare periodic reports on auditing findings.

Qualification

·       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing or other related fields.

·       Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in an auditing role or equivalent

·       Member of the ICAG or ACCA
