Petrosol is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking, and experienced individuals for the of Technology Officer. The Technology Officer shall be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing day-to-day technology operations across hardware, software, ERP systems, infrastructure, and information security. The role shall provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure system availability, data integrity, user productivity, cybersecurity compliance, and the continuous improvement of technology services across the organization. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Specification

LEADERSHIP:

·       Shall lead by modelling the company’s values of Service, Empathy, Leadership, Professionalism, Integrity and Sustainability and acting as an exemplary brand ambassador so as to inspire others, and to live the values and hold team members to such values.

TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS AND END-USER SUPPORT:

·       Shall serve as the primary technology support lead, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and peripheral issues across all business locations.

·       Shall oversee workstation, printer, and mobile device configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management.

·       Shall ensure that at least 95% of user support issues are resolved within agreed service timelines.

·       Shall coordinate and deliver IT onboarding for new employees, including system access provisioning, email configuration, and user orientation.

ERP SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION AND DATA GOVERNANCE:

·       Shall administer ERP user access, roles, permissions, and controls in line with approved authorization matrices.

·       Shall oversee ERP data accuracy, validation, reporting, and compliance across departments.

·       Shall serve as the key liaison between PETROSOL and ERP vendors, ensuring timely resolution of system issues and upgrades.

·       Shall train and support ERP users on system functionality, reporting, and best practices.

INFRASTRUCTURE, NETWORK, SECURITY & MICROSOFT 365 MANAGEMENT:

·       Shall manage servers, backups, disaster recovery processes, and system updates to ensure business continuity.

·       Shall oversee the performance and security of LAN and WAN infrastructure across all locations.

·       Shall coordinate with service providers to resolve internet and connectivity issues promptly.

·       Shall implement and monitor cybersecurity controls, including antivirus management, password policies, access controls, and incident response.

·       Shall administer Microsoft 365 services, including user accounts, licenses, email security, collaboration tools, and troubleshooting.

ASSET MANAGEMENT, COMPLIANCE AND REPORTING:

·       Shall ensure accurate and real-time updating of all IT asset records within 24 hours of assignment, transfer, or disposal.

·       Shall lead periodic physical audits of technology equipment across all locations.

·       Shall maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, incidents, resolutions, and change logs.

·       Shall prepare weekly and monthly management reports on system performance, support tickets, risks, and improvement initiatives.

·       Shall support the development and enforcement of IT policies, user manuals, training guides, and standard operating procedures.
