 About the role :

The Systems Administrator will be critical to the success of Chrysos in the EMEA region and will be focussed on enabling teams to leverage technology to achieve their objectives.

Covering a wide range of end user computing technologies, including hardware, software, and networking, the ideal candidate will love working with best of breed technologies, have a desire to learn new things, be able to solve complex problems and have a strong customer focus.

As part of small IT team in a rapidly growing business you will be the sole IT support member within the EMEA region and have the opportunity to be involved in projects that will transform the business and the way IT is delivered.  This will lead to significant opportunities for training and career growth.

What you will do:

  • Planning, installing and configuring hardware and software
  • Work with vendors, outsourcers and contractors as needed
  • Supporting end user compute technology across multiple streams including, Hardware, Software, Cloud services, Networks, Server, Print and M365 Applications
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues
  • Managing assets throughout their lifecycle
  • Creating and maintaining IT documentation for IT Staff and Chrysos Employees
  • Managing procurement for all end user compute requirements
  • Participating in Incident, Request and Change Management processes
  • Supporting the development of a strong WHS culture.
  • Assisting in the development and continual improvement of IT Systems across Production and Corporate environments

Who you are:

Essential

  • Ability to deploy and support hardware and peripherals including laptops, desktops, printers and mobile phones.
  • Experience with management of software such as Windows 10/11, M365 Applications, Remote Desktop Tools, AntiVirus, Active Directory, Azure AD
  • Working knowledge of networking, DNS and routing and how to troubleshoot these areas
  • Troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • 3 years minimum experience in a similar role
  • IT Qualifications or Certifications (Diploma, Degree or other industry certification)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and French (verbal and written).

Desirable

  • Experience administering Linux systems
  • Experience managing Modern Device Management tools such as InTune or Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management best practice (ITIL)
  • Experience administering AWS environments.
  • Strong documentation and training skills
  • PowerShell Knowledge
