WACU is seeking to employ hardworking and qualified individuals for the position of an Engineering Technician. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of ND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. The ideal candidate should have an excellent knowledge of laser coding machines. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities

·       Candidate will calibrate test equipment before work starts

·       Candidate will suggest the adaptation of certain processes and procedures that will improve operations

·       Candidate will conduct experiment and troubleshoot components to improve productivity

·       Candidate will embark on inspections and prepare reports and recommendations after the completion of those inspections.

Qualification

·        Minimum of ND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

·        Minimum of 2 years proven experience in tomato paste processing or packaging operations

·        Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

·        Proficiency in Universal Packaging Machines

·        Excellent knowledge of laser coding machines

·        Good inter-personal skills

·        Readiness to work according to Company HSE policy and procedures
