Essence is seeking the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of a Cashier. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing patient payments promptly and accurately.  As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Responsibilities:

·        The candidate will process patient payments promptly and accurately.

·        The candidate will be responsible for managing cash, credit card, and other forms of transactions in compliance with company policies.

·        The candidate must ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions in the system.

·        The candidate will balance cash registers at the end of shifts and prepare daily financial reports.

·        The candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and addressing billing inquiries from patients.

·        The candidate will collaborate with the accounts department to ensure smooth financial operations.

·        The candidate must adhere to all health facility protocols and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

·        Minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) or a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

·        At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

·        Experience in the health industry is an added advantage.

·        Proficient in using Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic accounting software.

·        Strong attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills.

·        Good interpersonal and communication skills.
