Passion Air seeks the services of qualified and hardworking individuals for the position of Finance Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing petty cash, maintaining general ledgers, and assisting in day-to-day accounting operations. As follows are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;
Responsibilities
· The candidate will be responsible for managing the petty cash system, including disbursements and replenishments
· The candidate will be responsible for recording and maintaining general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS
· The candidate will be responsible for performing monthly reconciliations for assigned accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies
· The candidate will be responsible for tracking and recording company expenses, ensuring proper categorization and documentation
· The candidate will be responsible for adhering to internal control procedures to ensure the accuracy of financial data
Qualification
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue management or accounting roles is an added advantage
Skills
· Strong numeric and analytical skills
· Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
· Excellent organizational and communication skills
