Ankobra Beach Retreat is seeking the services of qualified, hardworking, experienced, results-driven, and creative individuals for the position of Marketing Officer to lead and implement strategic marketing initiatives aimed at increasing occupancy rates, brand visibility, and revenue growth. The successful candidate will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive room bookings, events, and restaurant sales. The following are the responsibilities and qualifications for the position;

Key Responsibilities

       i.          Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive room bookings, events, and restaurant sales.

     ii.          Identify and secure corporate partnerships, travel agents, tour operators, and institutional clients.

    iii.          Manage digital marketing platforms, including social media, website content, email campaigns, and online travel agencies (OTAs).

   iv.          Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new revenue opportunities

     v.          Plan and coordinate promotional campaigns, special packages, and seasonal offers

   vi.          Maintain and expand the hotel's customer database.

  vii.          Monitor marketing performance metrics and provide periodic performance reports to management.

viii.          Represent the hotel at networking events, trade fairs, and tourism exhibitions.

Qualifications & Requirements

       i.          Minimum of HND/Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.

     ii.          At least 2-3 years of proven experience in marketing (hospitality industry experience is an advantage).

    iii.          Strong knowledge of digital marketing and social media management. Strong knowledge in Graphic Design (social media content creation is an advantage)

   iv.          Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

     v.          Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing analytics tools.

   vi.          Creative, proactive, and target-oriented mindset.
